Wow what a ride!! Thanks to the great help from Field, Sam, Rob and Tay the Shogun was just incredible to ride America’s most curvy lady!!!

Cafe Racer TV is doing a show next season on America’s great roads. Obviously the “Dragon” up in the smokey mountain national forest is tops on the list! This was my first time up and I was really nervous. My “ShoGun” just had the latest round of updates. Different engine, new wiring, Miller Powdercoated frame, ect. I stayed up till midnight finishing some details the night before the ride. Just to make it worse, thunderstorms were at near 50% levels.

After driving through rain to get there, we barely had any rain for 2 days!!! Mike, Blake, Larry and myself rode a nearly vacant Dragon up and down with and without camera’s stuck to us and following. At one point the guys had 8 camera’s running!

The dragon is 318 curves over 11 miles!!! This is the place for small bikes, and the 550 Honda was perfect and it ran flawlessly. I can’t tell you what a kick ass time I had up there! Definitely will be back.
